The project was an extension to an already substantial property in Hout Bay for a celebrated TV commercials director. The scope included the addition of 12 car garage basement, design as a vaulted catacomb, new swimming pool designed as a lake with waterfall, a bedroom wing, as well as the renovation and expansion to large interleading koi ponds inspired by tropical jungles [the brief from the owner was to be a place where fairies come to play]. The design direction of the property was largely guided by the creative genius of the owner. A once in a life time project.
